VeSync Co. Partners with WeForest

VeSync Co. is excited to announce its partnership with WeForest, a leading non-profit that’s making big strides toward restoring the earth’s forests. For every tree that a user plants in the Garden on the VeSync app, WeForest will plant a real tree in Luanshya, Zambia. 

The VeSync Garden was created to promote a carbon-neutral lifestyle by reducing harmful emissions to help the environment. These carbon-neutral behaviors include things like walking or running, using CFL light bulbs, and saving energy by turning off your products.

When users practice these behaviors, they earn points that they can use to plant trees in the VeSync Garden. For every tree a user plants in the VeSync Garden, WeForest will plant a tree where it’s needed most. Users can also save their energy to earn discounts on products from VeSync Co.

WeForest is working to transform 250,000 hectares of forest landscape by 2021, restoring 25,000 hectares of forests with an estimated 25 million trees, by empowering communities to sustainably advance and implement innovative, high-standard, scalable and lasting solutions to restore forest landscapes.
